Carolyn Baxter is a Scottish Bridal Designer with a passion for creating modern gowns that make women feel at their best.

Her refined style of sheer, embellished bridal gowns takes inspiration from the couture runways and combines elements of modern fashion couture with Bridal , emphasising the female silhouette and adding exquisite techniques with layering and embellishment.

On her natural development into bridal couture Carolyn was greatly inspired by brands such as Berta, Galia Lahav and Pallas Couture, realising there was a gap in the market in Scotland for creating this aesthetic.

Recently Carolyn’s had viral success with her Mother of the Bride range which has taken her overseas to host a trunk show in New York. This April she is showing in New York City along side other Designers representing Scotland on a global platform.

Carolyn has a store and studio in the heart of Edinburgh and has recently expanded her sister business “Atelier” to Glasgow.
